We are Georgia Geoprobe!

  • Our operators and field  samplers are all multi-state Licensed Professional Geologists (PG's) each possessing at least 17-21 years experience.  As a company, we hold Professional Geologist licensure in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia and Florida.  
  • We conduct Geoprobe Direct Push Services in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee and other select east coast states, and are capable of performing environmental field sampling services across the USA.
  • We operate Geoprobe Direct Push machines on both truck and track platforms and proudly own the only Geoprobe Model 54LT in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee.  In fact, we own and operate the only Geoprobe Model 54LT in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee.  
  • We are well versed in vapor intrusion assessments (VIA) and soil gas sampling.

The Probing Company History

For the last 13 years, our Atlanta, Georgia based Geoprobe Direct Push and environmental field sampling services work has focused on both industrial and commercial properties not only in the metropolitan Atlanta area but throughout the country. Our portfolio of sites includes: shopping centers, gas stations, strip malls, scrap metal facilities, automobile dealerships, automobile body shops, car washes, gas stations, industrial sites and plane crash sites. We have completed more than 1,000 soil, groundwater and/or soil gas sampling jobs, as well as monitoring well installation jobs, UST closure site assessments, low flow and traditional groundwater monitoring events and Phase II/Phase III site assessments. Our portfolio of sites also includes vapor intrusion assessments in accordance with Tier 3 of the 2010 Standard Practice for Assessment of Vapor Intrusion into Structures on Properties Involved in a Real Estate Transaction (ASTM E2600-10). We are Atlanta Georgia's source for Geoprobe Direct Push and environmental sampling!

We operate Geoprobe Rigs that are ready to collect soil, groundwater or soil gas samples from your site. We are experienced environmental professionals who have conducted more than 1000 soil, groundwater and/or soil gas sampling events, as well as countless vapor intrusion assessments in conformance with the Tier 3 ASTM E2600-10 Vapor Intrusion Assessment guidance. We realize that every client and every job is important and that the way the samples are collected and handled directly affects the analytical results you see from the laboratory.  We understand the regulatory comparison levels and want you and your client to get representative data from your site.  This all starts with the way the samples are collected.  We want your repeat business!

Health and Safety
Safety is a key part of any job! We realize that when you’re on a job site, it takes a team effort to keep the work environment safe. All our field staff are OSHA 40 hour trained and meet the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120(e). Our field staff all participate in a medical surveillance program as per 29 CFR 1910.120(f).

Insurance
The Probing Company carries insurance coverage to satisfy most environmental job sites. We will provide Certificate of Insurance with the appropriate additionally insured language upon request. Please contact us for a copy of our insurance certificate for your next probing job.
